About Greiner Buick Pontiac GMC

Poway is the second location for the Greiner organization. The first is in Victorville, CA, 100 miles north of Poway on Interstate 15.

Bob Greiner has been in the automotive industry for most of his life, starting in the "Motor City", Detroit, MI. Greiner Buick Pontiac GMC was founded over 20 years ago in Victorville and in 2005, Mr. Greiner found a great opportunity in Poway. Operations began in October of 2005 for Greiner Poway and the staff has continued to build on Mr. Greiner’s sales philosophy of repeat and referral business. Though not in an "A" location on a major freeway or giant auto mall, Greiner Poway has continued to do business in a straight forward and relaxed manner, with an emphasis on full-disclosure of pricing and services rendered.

In 2008, Ryan Butterfield joined the Greiner organization as President of the Poway dealership. The partnership has been a great one, being that Mr. Butterfield has instilled the same core values in the Poway store that Mr. Greiner has preached – values he learned from a Butterfield family with over 70 years of dealership success in Utah. These values include fostering a great work environment that leads to happy employees and, ultimately, completely satisfied customers.

Though 2009 has brought a few challenges to the auto industry, Greiner is happy to say that it still employs over 90% of the employees it did in 2008. Greiner could not have done it without you, the loyal customer, and for that, Mr. Greiner, Mr. Butterfield and all of the great Greiner Employees could not be more grateful!
